Amen to that.

A lady wrote the best letter in the editorials
in ages!!! It explains things better than all the
baloney you hear on TV.

Her point:

Recently large demonstrations have taken
place across the country protesting the fact that
Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal
immigration.
Certain people are angry that the US might
protect its own borders, might make it harder to
sneak into this country and, once here, to stay
indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand the
thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house.
Let's say that when you discover me in your
house, you insist that I leave.
But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed
the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors.

I've done all the things you don't like to do.

I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I
broke into your house).
According to the protesters:
a.. You are Required to let me stay in your
house
b.. You are Required to add me to your
family's insurance plan
c.. You are Required to Educate my kids
d.. You are Required to Provide other
benefits to me and to my family
e.. (my husband will do all of your yard
work because he is also hard-working and honest,
except for that breaking in part).
a.. If you try to call the police or force
me out, I will call my friends who will picket your
house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be
there.

a.. It's only fair, after all, because you
have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to
better myself.
a.. I'm a hard-working and honest, person,
except for well, you know, I did break into your
house.
a.. And what a deal it is for me!!!
a.. I live in your house, contributing only
a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is
nothing you can do about it without being accused
of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted
behavior.
a.. Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY
LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me.

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?!
Only in America ...if you agree, pass it on (in
English). Share it if you see the value of it.
If not blow it off......... along with your
future Social Security funds, and a lot of other
things.

Working

Ok, I'm trying to work out the kinks of this new blog thing and I know that on my friends list some people are listed twice, I assure you that when I added the links nobody was added twice...anyhow...I am slowly trying to arrive back into the blogosphere world but its a slow, slow process....

Just to keep you updated, I had a pretty crappy 2006 and thought that 2007 would be better, well, its not too bad, except we found out a couple weeks ago that my Dad has bladder cancer. We go to the specialist on the 16th of February so I guess we will know more about it then. Keep your fingers crossed for my Daddy.

And shutup Chuck, my blog is great! LOL. =0)-

ANOTHER TEMPLATE?

I'm sure your thinking that I'm just some crazy gal that can't make up her mind on which template she wants to use, although this is correct in my everyday life (the crazy part) its not true for blogger...when I find a template I like, there is at least some major part of it that doesn't work so I am working on it, so please bear with me!!!!

So Yeah.

So yeah, my life has been quite hectic. With school and soccer, I don't have time to breathe. Correction....all I do is eat, sleep and breathe soccer. Andrew has practice on Monday and Thursday. Nicholas has practice on Weds. and Friday. Both games are held on Saturday. I do love being a soccer mom. Its fun to watch them score goals and play the game. Nicholas got his first one this past saturday. Andrew got his 12th or so this past saturday. (Andrew is a good soccer player but his age group doesn't have goalies-but this doesn't take away from him being a 6 y.o. Pelle)

I was also informed by Nicholas that he wants to join Boy Scouts. When he asked I said "well, you know we have soccer crowding our schedules" and he says to me "but mom, its on Tuesday and we don't do anything on Tuesday".

So looks like we are going to a Boy Scout meeting tonight at 7.

Nicholas - 1
Mom - 0.

I changed my skin for the season....it is my favorite time of year and I'm ready to break out the Halloween decorations, but I will wait until this weekend. But that hasn't stopped me from eating all kinds of candy to get myself more into the spirit of Halloween.

I hope everyone is well and I know I'm not blogger of the year, but I will try...I promise...even if its after soccer season ends on October 28!!!!
